Lately, I've been waking up to crappy hangovers. I don't really get headaches anymore, (i havn't been drinking really heavily), but i still feel drained and out of it the next day. I don't know if you guys get this too, but does anyone else feel really depressed with their hangovers? i mean, i have no reason to, i had a great night, but, i dunno. just feel down and out of it.

Try drinking Powerade before you go to sleep and as soon as you wake up instead of water.

For some reason I have never really got hangovers. I have had maybe 3 or 4 ever that were actual hangovers. For the most part I just wake up feeling dehydrated and sometimes with a minor headache that lasts all of a half hour. Like Oz said, try drinking powerade, iced tea, water, etc along with some asprin before going to bed. It can make the next morning a lot better to deal with.

just about all my hangovers have been like that. all i want to do is lie in bed and do nothing. after a few hours of that i'm fine.

Caused by low blood sugar and dehydation, among other things (like maybe too much alcohol). get as much frutcose (fruit formed sugar) into you the night before and the morning after. You're probably also dehydrated so to kill two birds with one stone chug a lot of a high frutcose beverage with lots of vitamin c like oj or sunny d.

I know the feeling. The worst is when they sneak up on you. Example:
The day after my birthday (in which I was dead by about 10:30). I woke up at about noon, suprisingly feeling fine. Chilled for about an hour then all of a sudden had absolutely no energy. Stumbled back to bed and was dead until. Then drank more.
Very strange. Hangovers suck, but oh well...it's the price you pay.

mine usually aren't all that bad. the first time i drank i got the worst hangover EVER, massive headache, nausea, dehydration, everything. since then i usually get a mild headache if any, maybe feel a bit tired because of the lack of sleep, but other than that they aren't bad.
just this past saturday i was drinking with the engineers (can anyone say sausage fest, even though i tend to get a girl at each one) and got way too trashed and way too stoned. anyways i slept for about 3 or 4 hours, woke up with a mild headache, walked back to the university campus (it's about a half hour walk, maybe less) drove home, drank a glass of water, took an advil, slept for another 4, woke up feeling perfectly fine

For me, it all had to do with how much sugar I had with the booze. If I drank straight whiskey all night, I'd never be hungover. If I drank a half dozen bottles of wine, different story.

MY hangovers have been pretty bad lately, even if i handn't drank too much the night before. I think what triggered it was a few weeks ago i got super super trashed and had the worst hangover ive ever had in my life period. Since then, even a little bit of drinking have been incurring killer hangovers. I think i'll lay low on the drinking for now.

Dont take aspirin or tylenol or anything for hangovers, the night before or the morning after.

I never really get bad hangovers. If I know Im going to be doing some heavy drinking I drink a bottle of Vitamin water before hand. I have yet to get a bad hangover with that combo.

I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that our livers are pretty pissed at us in the first place.

Drink plenty of water, and take a couple aspirin before retiring for the night.
Next day, keep drinking water.
One thing I've noticed is that the older you get, the worse your hangovers seem. I've attributed this to the fact that your brain keeps growing and learning, so at 20 you don't realize how much it bothers your (aka you ignore it) and at 30+ you realize how much you're going to suffer the next day.
