anyone convert a 93 sc2 to a different fuel?

i was jw if anyone here has converted a 93 sc2 dual overhead cam 5 speed into propane or another alternate fuel with any benefits and is there any sites about this?

I've passed this one several times.
I have a question: Why bother?
The car's so old that the mod can't have any payback, and it's already good on gas.

Well if it's the car described in your sig with a broken tranny, probably not worth the effort IMHO. I'm sure it's possible, if you really want to do some farbricating and a lot of work, but the payoff seems pretty darn low. I mean, there is a guy somewhere who rigged an old pickup truck to run off off the hydrogen produced by burning wood. Now if this is just a hobby of yours, something to kill time and you like this kind of thing, go for it and let us know how it goes.

Just curious though, what benefits could there be? Propane would be more expensive I think.
