fuck.... that's all i can really say. i had an 86% in mechanics before the final and after the final my mark droped to a B- (70-74%) so i figured there must have been some mistake because i knew everything on the final. turns out i made a bunch of retarded mistakes and fucked it up royally. pretty pissed at myself, and just feeling like a complete idiot. my prof emailed me the mistakes i made (well, he described them) and some of them just had me shaking my head. i really just want to beat the shit out of something right now. the worst part is that i can only blame myself. it could have been the stress of the exam or the lack of sleep but ultimately it's me and that's what pisses me off the most because i know i'm fucking smart enough to get an A+ in the course but i fucked it up. fuck.

I'm a huge advocate of a good nights rest before a test. I've had similar situations before. I know the material but I make dumbass mistakes on the test cause I'm tired. Do the +'s and -'s count for anything at your school? At my school A+ gets the same 4 points as an A-

normally i try to get a good nights rest before an exam but this time there was just so much to study that i didn't get much. i got a decent night's rest but not a good one.
and my school's on a 12 point scale: 90-100= 12 85-89=11 80-84=10 etc.
the other thing that pissed me off was that i walked out of that exam thinking it was easy and thinking that i did well, either an A or an A- overall. oh well, i think i'll retake it this summer if i can so that i can get the A+ that i deserve.

Classic case: Me and my roommate pulled an all nighter studying for our accounting test. We were both so tired during the test that we were literally falling asleep in our seats. As we walked out, I was so delusional and delirious that I told Keith (roommate) that I thought I made a B. We both got fat F's :disappoin

on a slightly better note, my mechanics prof did send me a very nice email. something along the lines of "put it behind you, you know this stuff as you can tell from your previous test scores. forget about it and come see me in 4 years when you're an engineer". still thinking of retaking the course but i appreciated that email.
