The car did run fine with a minor idling problem. I thought that this might just be some clogged injectors or water in the fuel. I added fuel injector cleaner and a can of heat to the fuel. I ran the car for about a half hour and now it won't start. It turns over but will not start. I checked for spark and it has spark. When you turn the ignition key on you can hear the fuel pump pressurize. The Service Engine Soon light never came on. I also pulled the two front plugs and there was fuel in the cylinders, it smelled flooded. The timing belt was just replaced about 10,000 miles ago. Any ideas?

Welcome to AF. You may have spark, but insufficient to start the engine for one thing. Also just to be sure check the fuel pressure, I know if the cylinders are loaded this doesn't seem to make sense, but just to eliminate fuel pressure as an issue.

Check the crankshtft position sensor, should be at the back of the motor just below the knock sensor. When they start to go the car will start and run great for about 10 minutes or so, then it will just shut off. Upon trying to restart the engine it will rotate but will not fire. This will continue to happen untill all it does is turn over. The part is about 40.00 CDN.

How old are the plugs and wires, and what brand are they? Start with the basics first.
