I think I need to move into ghost's garage cuase I have officially entered bumdom. I'm moving back to Florida in January and I was supposed to be staying with my friend, Lua, and her roommate Ian. But I get a call today from her and she says "Ian told me today that he doesn't want anymore roommates"
And yes, Ian has the power to make those kinds of decisions cause his mommy bought the house for him to live in so he could rent out the extra rooms and charge rent. He told Lua last year that he wanted to find some roommates to replace the two that were moving out at the end of the semester. And now he suddenly changed his mind.
Keep in mind that Ian wants to get with Lua but wants to keep his other girls too, so she won't do anything with him. And most people (Ian included) seem to think that me and Lua got some sort of thing going on behind the scenes... untrue. So I think once he found out who she had moving in, he decided it wasn't gonna happen. What a little bitch.
So now I have one month to find somewhere to live in tallahassee. I hope homelessness is as fun as it looks.

for the first week or so you should sleep over with lua in her room just to piss him off.

Chris B? :icon16:

:iceslolan I though of that too cause she said I could stay with her for a while if i need to. Then I can walk out of her room in my boxers and when I see him say "Oh damn... I didn't realize you were here" :evillol:
I talked to another friend of mine today and he says I can crash on the futon at his place for as long as I need to. I'm only gonna be in tallahassee for 4 months and then I graduate. I was hoping to have a room and a bed, but at this point I'll take whatever I can get.

what's wrong with being a bum? you just sit around doing nothing, people give you money, you don't need to worry about getting dressed or washing and you get to drink in public. i don't see any downsides here.

Did you argue the point a bit at least? It sounds like you've rolled over and played dead.

I completely see your point, but I didn't argue with her for various reasons:
A) Arguing with her puts me one step closer to the loony bin. She comes up with the most infuriating nonsensical points known to man. I've done it numerous times before and I'm sure I'll do it again, but this time I didn't bother because...
B) This isn't really under her control. Its Ian being a beeyotch. If I started to argue about it with her, I'd just end up yelling at her which does neither one of us much good.
C) Since she knows me as well as she does, I know she was expecting me to blow up about it, but I didn't even raise my voice. Actually I think my exact words were "Hmm... okay". Then she was silent for a bit (probably waiting for my tirade to begin) and then she began damage control and sounded more uncomfortable than I've ever heard her sound. My silence spoke volumes.
D) She knows how big a screw job this is to me and if we're any kind of friends, she'll try to set it right. If she doesn't even try, then I guess I need to reevaluate our friendship. As far as she knows right now, I'm still homeless when I get down there, and I'm gonna keep on letting her think that until I feel she's made sufficient efforts to get me a room.
E) I know my other friends have my back and there's no way I'll actually be homeless down there with my little cousin and numerous friends with houses living in the same city. They wouldn't let it happen. This was my first choice because it was an actual room, not a spot in the living room.
