99 blazer 4.3L won't start

A friend came to me at work because of a problem he was having with his blazer.

It is a 99 Blazer 4.3L, it will not start at all, getting Fuel At the injector, good spark, and compression is around 150-160 on each cylinder. And he cannot figure out what the casue could be, the only other problem I could see would be air, but he said they tried holding the gas pedal down while cranking the engine and still no fire.

Anyone have any similar problems or suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.........

How much fuel pressure?? You need 61 PSI to start engine.

Where is the good spark?? You need to check each and every plug for spark. Just because one plug has good spark doesn't mean the rest do.

If 6opsi key on engine off and then no bled down, then put a new cap/rotor on (or test with a known working one) - get a Delco cause the aftermarkets have some internal burn thru problems and you don't see and spark is to multiple cylinders at same time - been there. If not that next would be crank sensor.

I will have him check all of the plugs for spark and see where the fuel pressure is at.
