Wow I was wondering how do you get to the front and rear intake manifold cooling hoses. I would like to change them but was wondering if their was some kind of trick to get to them. I have seen the front two hose that spit off of that Y. It looks like you might have to remove the timing belt pulley and the rear timing belt guard. The rear ones I can not see. I know they are there because I seen a picture of them on a engine on E-Bay. Most of the things so far on the trooper seem easy to work on but these hoses are going to be a quite a task.

There are several coolant lines burried under the intake/common chamber. If you disturb or bump the steel portions, they will leak at the O-ring seals. I wouldn't touch them unless you plan to changeout the O-rings. The common chamber has to come off, it's a big job.

How many hours would you say it takes to replace the two front and two rear hoses? The hoses look to be in bad shape but they do not leak. I worry about my wife being stranded or her not watching the temp gauge and buring up the motor.
