I was wondering if there is air intake for a 305, fuel injected engine? I'm thinking air intake like what you would get for your honda civic to give it more power... Is there anything out there like that for my car?

I have seen intakes for the TBI off eBay.
All it is a small cover over the TBI to a tube with a cone filter on it. Your probably better off just getting a K&N filter for your TBI and not using a ghetto intake like the ones I mentioned.

^ example. its more likely to be all show with no go. Unless you like rice go for it.

I figured it'd be pretty gay.. But i was also thinking. The air cleaner housing has that tube like part on it that extends out and then opens up, could a guy put a hose on to that open end and run it down under the car or in front of the grill to get some cold air running in there, or would that even be worth the time, and work?

the only way a CAI is worth it is, if the engine is built. Im not talking bout gay bolt ons, or crappy Hyper tech tuning or fucking gay fart can mufflers.(see cavalier forum. they all love that crap)
plus you gotta think about were you live. if you live in a area where it rains a few times a month, has snow, or dirt then having a intake closer to the ground will attract all that. biggest worry is water cause of hydro lock. theres that not that big of chance of it happening, but it can.
I would say dont waste your time with building a 305 it will cost a lot. and some low buck 350 will just smoke it anyday.
thats my :2cents:

thats the setup on my dads old 83 S-10.
it runs under the bumper and takes cold air from under the car.
probly good for 2-3 horsepower when its hot

You can hardly even feel a 2-3 HP increase. This is when you sit down and think "Do I REALLY need this?"
in my opion your better off using the money for this intake or a CAI to put more into your gas tank next fill up
