Yeah but everyone thinks they're the best driver on the road. The only person I know that admitted to being a bad driver is my sister who actualy hit the broad side of a bus. A school bus no less.

i'm not claiming to be 'tha' best drive on the road, but there are things that you can do to ease the flow of traffic.

for instance, like he said, when you know you are going to need to exit, get over. i usually start trying to get over half a mile in advance in normal traffic. more if the traffic is dense.

when you are in stop and go traffic, it is better to try and coast along without ever coming to a complete stop and to try to maintain your speed as much as possible... this prevents the 'wave effect' that occurs in traffic. you know the story, traffic is flowing great, then all the sudden it stops for no apparent reason. you wait for 10 seconds, then it slowly starts moving again. you think to yourself, "What was that" there was no accident, so what was going on??? there WAS an accident... 30 minutes ago, about 3 miles ahead on the road. the 'wave' is still going long after the accident is gone.

like i said, i'm not claiming to be the best driver out there, but a little common sense makes driving a lot easier and safer.

But yeah, people suck at driving. I almost died multiple times on a road trip last month due to my cousin's crazy driving... I've since disowned her.

well, i know myself that i drive about 100 in my car(maniac) and about 65-70 in the hummer. i think different vehicles feel safe at different speeds, but i never drive under the limit....and ya, i saw george live in vegas, funny mofuker...

Highways are great, for the reason that there's 2 or 3 lanes, but when some cars are slower and they start slowing down traffic, it can get annoying. If there's a major traffic jam and they're behind more cars, you shouldn't get mad, but if they're being slow, both of them and there's more than enough room, you should ...not tailgate them, but inch closer so that they'll instinctively speed up. After that, if the other car remained slower, you pull in front of it and voila. This usally works, but if they don't move after some time, just ease off, you've lost the battle.

I really like the old farts here in fla. they have to be in the far left lane. saw one the other day got on the interstate in front of me, no one in either lane and they shot to the left lane, stayed there going 65 in a 70 and they won't move over until their exit comes up and at the last possible second they shoot over then down the ramp plus most of them take meds and are drinking

People that pull to the shoulder of the road to take a left turn
people that pull to the middle of the road to take a right turn
People that turn at half a goddamn mile an hour (unless its an obviously top heavy vehicle)
people that cut in and out of traffic because they HAVE to be at the front. They usually get stuck.
Left lane bandits that drive the speed limit and dont move over when you come up on them (usually new yorkers in mass. fuckers)
people that have to pay a $0.45 cent toll with a $50.00 bill and ask for directions. I get stuck behind one EVERY time i'm at the tolls.
People that ride my ass when i'm behind a cop (WTF?!)
Anybody on the road when I'm on my bike.

what about all these people that jam on their brakes when someone three cars up touches their brakes for a second.
or these people that cant seem to find a speed and stick with it...
