Questions about making a headboard liner

I've been doing some reading on this forum and have found a lot of useful information. I was just wondering if anyone could share their experiences on making a headboard liner from scratch? Currently my truck doesn't have one, but I like to do a lot of airbrushing, and would like to make a one off custom headboard and dash to match the design on the outside of the truck.

Also, I was trying to figure out how to attach the dashboard. The clips (used on door pannels) seems to be a good idea, but I would be more interested in incorporating nuts, thus making it a bolt on dash. That technique was mentioned, but being new at this it would be a great help if one of you fiberglass guru's could do a step-by-step tutorial. That would totally rock!

Thanks guys!

uhhhhhhhhh nolol....nooooooooooo kidding! Kinda figured that one out pretty quick. Looks like one of those projects I'll end up wingin' in the garage. If it works out then great. If it doesn't...oh well. Scrap it and try it again.

BTW Justin, how did the Goe turn out? Do you have any pics of the final project? Looks wild with the body kit on. Only thing left on the body is a custom hood and paint.

I've had 2 Preludes, and really loved those cars. The first one I owned was a '88 2.0 Si, and the second was a '92 2.0 Si. Of course I loved how they were little rocket ships on wheels, but what was better was the fact that they could handle well at high speeds. Have fun with the tuners and get some pics up if ya have time.
