stupid work

so i'm right in the middle of cleaning up some data for a project. i go to print some things off and i can't print. After about 10 minutes of not being able to figure it out I go get our "Printer Guru". He says to log out and then back in. I do that and it says my account has been locked out, please contact your administrator. So I call our IT department and ask them to reset my password. The guy I talk to says my account has been expired since the end of August and I need to get my supervisor to send them an email. I ask the IT man, "Why was I able to log in and do EVERYTHING i needed to do last week (the end of september)?" His answer, "I don't know." what a great answer. I just hang up the phone. My supervisor will not be in until tomorrow so I'm getting ready to leave since I can't do ANYTHING and the guy i report to (different from my Supervisor) asks me where i'm goin. I told him the whole situation and he asks, "why are you leaving?" I simply turn around and go to my cube. Once I see him walk past i'm outta here.

sorry just had to vent. there are some people here that i REALLY don't understand how they are still alive.

IT often stands for Irritating Technician. Can't the second supervisor make a call and get somethin to happen?

Since when did IT stand for Irratating technician, I always thought it stood for Incompetent Tools......................
