so these crackheads living upstairs finally got the bum out after a warning letter from the landlord. a few days after, the tennant comes downstairs and says he wants to talk to me. he was drunk as a skunk and talking in my face about how he didnt appreciate me telling the landlord. i tell him "come on! no way would anyone put up with that!" so we talk it out and all is good. a few days later, the tennants(guy and wife) are drinking beers on the side of the house. my roomates friend decides to have a few with em(dont ask me why...) bout 1/2 hour later, our friend lost his phone and goes looking for it outside. he walks into the back door(which is kinda a breezeway) and the guy is there(on the steps)with his wife cause she was all drugged up and couldnt stand! the tennant then yells at our friend for coming into the breezeway without asking. they have a yelling match and he leaves. next thing we know, we see the crackhead lady peeking in my roomates window! he screams at her and she runs!lol 3 days go by and then the male tennant comes and knocks on the door and confronts my roomate about our friend. hes yelling in his face and my roomate flips! my roomate raised his fist and tells him to get the f out. after that, my dog has been acting up at night barking. she never barks unless there is someone out there. i turn on lights and nothing happens. next night my roomate wakes up(with ear plugs in) and hears someone trying to get in his door from the basement. we find out this guy has a key to the basement! luckily door was locked and nothing happened. sat 9/23, we are watching movies with some ladies, and the tennants come on our ft porch and start kicking our furnature around and telling us to come fight and what not. we call cops, cop gets there and tennant starts telling off the cop bigtime. after cop tryed to tell him to go upstairs, he resists. then the cop trys to cuff him, he resists and throws cop to the floor and runs upstairs!!!! my roomate ran out to help but guy was upstairs quick. backup comes(10 cop cars!!) and they proceed to verbally battle. cops pick lock and run upstairs and arrest him. we press charges for breach of peace, he gets either resisting or assault, and he had a warrant for someshit! today is monday, crackhead wife still upstairs, guy in jail, not sure how long, but im sure there will b a part 3! all this after warning my landlord not to let them move in..............

Wow, so the crackhead guy actually threw the officer onto the ground ? That's bad. Must have been a big guy. Cause I know around here if you even thought about doing something like that, you'd have been pepper sprayed like 3x, Tasered at least once, and the ever living shit beat out of you, not to say that the cops beat people around here, but they get the job done. Sorry to hear about that though. Maybe the landlord will finally wise up and slap an eviction notice on their door.

thanks, ya, i think hes actually a heroin addict, but i like crackhead better!lol hes also a sick alchoholic, thats when he gets really crazy.... im so stressed about this shit i wanna yell at my landlord/boss. i warned him before they even let em move in, and he didnt listen. anyone know how long eviction processes are? i dont even like going home with these psycos upstairs. the crazy thing is they used to live there with there parents years ago, and they passed away in my livingroom! they are obsessed with living there and the guy told me"my parents died here, and my wife and i will too.." they're creepin me the f out! i gaurantee retaliation when he gets out. i hope he comes in my house and my roomate bashes his head in, or maybe my dog rips his arm off or someshit. id really feel alot better!lol

haha, if that's your dog (in your sig) , i'd let 'em loose sometime if the neighbors start shit. lol... might get you in some trouble, but hey, the cops already know, he's violent. so maybe they'd look the other way. being as how you were "defending yourself"

but, around here, once a tenant is summoned into court (if it goes that far) they usually get 7-14 days (around here) to move out. but it all depends on the judge. i've seen in some cases where the judge gives them as long as a month for them to move out. IF the landlord take it that far. Sometimes if you don't sign a lease, or go thru a credit process ... blah blah, then you might be stuck dealing with just the landlord. don't take what i say as the rule, cause i'm still not 100% sure.

if i were you, i'd call the cops every time something goes on, and then maybe the landlord, if he lives close will get tired of them starting all kinds of shit, and get the balls and kick 'em out! If you're on good standings with him he's got to start listening eventually.

Just protect yourself.

Well, some folks just deserve a good beating.

I remember watching a documentary one night about police snipers, and they interviewed one sniper, asking him how he felt about his job.

He said,"there are people in this world who need to be shot," just as matter of fact as can be. I laughed my ass off when I heard that.

I'm sure there is a breach of contract, this would classify as such. I hate people like that. I hope all gets straightened out, for your sake.

If I were you, I'd be looking for a new place to live. Mainly for the fact that the idiot druggies will probably try retaliation of some sort. You should seriously consider keeping a shotgun nearby...crackeads do some wierd stuff to get back at people.

well, im not moving simply for the fact i pay 575 for a huge house with a huge yard, garage, and basement. free heat/hot water, and many other perks. my boss owns the place, so of coarse hes gonna do everything to get them out of there. as for my dog, she wont do anything unless he hurts me, shes very unagressive by me raising her. but i do believe if he hurt me, she'd help. also, this guy played with her a few times(probably on purpose) so the dog doesnt know he's bad.. the paper came out yesterday and he did get assault on an officer, 2nd degree breach of peace, and a warrant in another town. i think hes got a record ttoo, so hopefully he'll go away for a long time. i feel like going upstairs and asking his wife wtf is wrong with u people!? if they just left us alone, nothing would of happened. people never learn, i just hope we see the retaliaton coming and either have the cops there, or beat his azz into the ground. unfortunately the law doesnt protect you if you use violence against a criminal, but it'd b soooooo worth kicking this guy in the face a million times! itd b a nice stress reliever after all this shit ive been goiing through.and yeah, thats my dog in the pic, and my house

I'm worried about the dog - like I said earlier it might be a good idea to let the dog stay with someone else or keep it indoors until this fiasco is over with. It's too easy for some freaked out angry vengeful crackhead to throw a piece of poisoned meat to a trusting animal...it's happened to my friends neighbor who was having an ongoing arguement with the neighborhood wacko. His dog died mysteriously and the same day she walks by him smiling and saying "woof, woof" under her breath. Fucking crazy people can't be trusted.

Chances are the guy is going to spend some time in jail after all of this, so the breach of contract is a mute point. :2cents:

yeah, but i want them out asap regardless. i think he is still in jail now cause i havent heard much upstairs except the crackhead wife walking around. assault on an officer has to get some good jailtime, especially cause he has a record.

The land lord sounds like a dick, if there are crack heads using drugs, anything could happen, are they dealing, you don't know, and if things go wrong you don't want to be caught in the cross fire. have you already informed the landlord on these legal activity's???, its his responsibility to take things into his own hands and evict them or at the least call the cops. There sounds like there is more to this story than you are letting off ie: crack heads parents lived there before…….

the landlord is my boss and he knows all about it. hes trying to evict them now, but its a long and hard legal process in connecticut. i only know the parents lived there cause the guy told me. and i dont know hes dealing drugs. i just know hes a user...
