1990 Legacy service repair manual section 2?

I think Haynes really did a bad job on our service manuals. Maybe because there are not enough subaru owners as possible clients compared to honda and gm. I am about to swap my 5 spd transmission for another and change my clutch in the process. I'm thinking there is no other alternative to the real FACTORY service manual for this case. My friend downloaded one for his Toyota MR2 but I can't find anything anywhere. Not even a used one on ebay. Does anyone have one that I can maybe rent or buy? Anything would be a help.

try www.alldatadiy.com or www.alldata.com I really liked it when they sold the CD's, but now they have gone to an online subscription. Good stuff that is based upon the factory manuals, but far less expensive. Also, Look for the "Ultimate Subaru Repair Manual" online.
