ok, so i have this friend ive known for probably 6 years. we've been really good friends these 6 years. we're like brother and sister. whenever we hangout, we get along really good and have good laughs. recently, she started going out with this guy. i know the guy and he's pretty cool. but anyway, it seems like whenever she's with this guy, she'll totally ignore me and whatnot. but then when we hangout or see eachother after school (when shes not with her boyfriend), she'll talk to me and stuff and be the total opposite she is when shes with her boyfriend. it just kinda pisses me off. its like she has 2 personalities. any comments? just wanted to get that off my chest

Ask her when she's in her "normal" mode.

She may have a jealous bf that doesn't want her talking to other guys, or maybe feel bad about not paying attention to him when they're together. Just ask.

i guess that would be the logical thing to do. it just pisses me off that she acts like that. thanks for the reply.

We shouldn't have to act any differently. We are who we are. It sounds like there a bit of insecurity or possibly insecurity on her part. There may be an element of fear that she might loose this guy so she's standoffish towards you when he's around.

It's probably just lack of maturity. It's a game the vast majority of girls play. It's also why I like "tomboys" more than "prissy" girls, they tend not to do this crap and are who they are. Also, women in their mid-30's and up tend to not play games any more.

Life's too important for games. Be honest, be true, be polite and be upfront.

i agree with everyone else, it is probably jealousy on the part of her bf. i really hate it when people let their bf or gf tell them how to act with their friends. or even just ditch their friends completely. just talk to her, share your concerns and see what she has to say on the matter.

Just be there for her when she loses her bf the last thing you want is for her to think you hate her.
