Seat belt waring buzzer

I have a 1992 Mazda B2200 LE regular cab short bed.It is my understanding that the truck has a warning buzzer for key in the ignition /seat belt unbuckled. There is a factory "TIMER/BUZZER" module under the dash in the correct spot. I replaced it thinking it was bad, but still no warning buzzer. The timer part is working as the seat belt lite comes on for 3 seconds and then goes off.Can anyone help re getting the buzzer part to work? Thanks. BJ

I have an '86 and I pull the buzzer out because it was annoying. It was a 2"x3" black box under the dash behind hood release lever. If you replaced it with a new one and it still won't work I'm not sure of the issue unless a fuse is out.

Here is a funny story - Perhaps it will solve your problem. My seatbelt was not clipping in well (drivers) and oneday I sprayed some Wd40 into the unit. The next time I jumped in and turned her over (1990 B2200) this horrible buzzing sound was there - the seatbelt sound now worked as I was not buckled in. It has never made that sound before.

I hope this may be of help as you are a great help to all of us here!

Thanks for the input.I did check fuses and all were ok.Archer ,I did not think about a faulty seat belt connection which could cause the buzzer not to go off.I admit the buzzers are annoying including the one I installed last week to remind me the lights are on. However,I am reaching the age when I would forget my head if it were not attached to my shoulders so the buzzers are beginning to assume positive significance.Lol. Thanks again for the suggestions. BJ
