How, would you handle an ass^&*(

Hi, I'm just venting here. I work at a large warehouse. I'm 5'9 197lbs. I've got a little bit of chunkiness, but not much. I work hard, so I'm in decent shape. Not perfect, but not a fatboy by any means. I work with a guy whose temper is very extreme. He's 6'1 250lbs. His mood swings go from an angel to a demon in the blink of an eye. I hate the fact that I've worked there for 2.5 years and I still get no respect from this ass%^$& It's not just me. I've seen him go off on other people as well. What makes my blood boil is that he rarely . If ever, will treat people his own size, or close to it the same way. I can't stand a man who has to f#$% with people alot smaller than him. I'm not whining. I just hate a coward. I'm a mellow guy. I'll never start a fight. :uhoh: This guy thinks he's a bad ass!!! Compared to me, it's not a contest. I have next to nothing when it comes to a temper. But, I also can promise. I can get crazy angry when provoked for a long period of time. I don't want to do something stupid. Please advise me . But as for your problem just ignore the dude if he is that big and can only start shit with smaller guys then he definatley is a coward. I guess one day when he steps up to you, your just going to have to knock him back down.

Before he beats you to death, just ask him "what about that guy" and just point to someone larger than him. Just make him feel like a wuss. If he's too scared to even talk to someone bigger, than talk to someone bigger than him and discuss how much of a wuss he is for not talking to someone bigger, and I bet you'll have that person to help you out if the problem persists.

What's the position of this big guy anyway? Does he have any authority at work?

Do you have any brothers? Cousins? Good friends? There's always power in unity of many. I don't care what people say, you mess with one guy in our family, you mess with the whole clan. Take some of you buddies in several car loads, and have a hot-headed friend/cousin talk to this big guy, "you pick on my friend/brother one more time, your mother's going to find your head in a dumpster, son." Corleone style always works, and is fool-proof, especially with such bullies. Always worked for me ;)

next time he starts a problem just tell him that if he can't talk to you like a normal human being than to just shut the fuck up and leave you alone. if he tries to start a fight talk to your manager or foreman or whoever and complain.

When I am running my friend's place I tell them if whoever gets you angry do the following(and I had posters made up and posted them all over the shops):
1. Ignore the fellow worker if that doesnt work,
2. Tell the fellow worker not to bother you, if they continue
3. Tell fellow worker if he/she bothers you again your getting a boss, if it still continues,
4. Get the boss and leave the rest to him/her.
I actually fired someone that had a temper. I told him to take a long lunch I'll punch him out at the correct time(about 45 minutes for lunch time). He came back instagated by throwing a tools around co-workers complained again, I said to quit, when I come back from the errand if I stop there is still trouble, I am firing someone. The instagator got fired.

Because, the managers here can't handle jack-sh^& . They have no interest in doing anything other than telling me how to do my job.. Which they know even less about than I do. I guess the only thing I can do is talk sh$% back. The only problem is he has another job to fall back on. I do not. I don't fear a mild-major ass-beating. Because pain goes away. But, I do fear standing up, and recieving an ass-beating to boot, and getting fired along with his punk-a$$., and being screwed to boot.

Well if your managers arent going to take care of it, your going to have to take matters into your own hands. Tell him to meet you after work and serve him an ass beating. Thats at least what I would do. :)

Don't use violence it will only get you fired or even more trouble. Let authorities whether it be the bosses of you place of work or your local law enforcement agency.

You could get him fired. Make him late a lot by letting the air out of his tired and putting some glue in the stem or something. We used to instigate a bit at McDonalds, no one ever got fired because of it but it helped. Or you could nail a woman close to him like his sister, girlfriend, or mom. That would be fuck with someone mentally.

Taking matters into your own hands will only get you on the un-employment line. The best thing to do is write a well written and detailed letter with documentation to your human resource department. When I say documentation I mean the date, time, location, and who was around you(witnesses) to the altercation. Keep this in a notebook/pad for a couple weeks/months. This will provide you with evidence.
