I am planning to buy a nissan altima 2006 cuz of the low APR. I live in Upstate NY...I know.. difficult to find good deals here as it is middle of no where. But is it possible to get it below INvoice price (http://www.nissanforum.com/m_5792/tm.htm#)? since the 2007 model is coming out soon.

How much are you paying for yours? Let me know what models.. and Where?

Dealers here charge for advertising fees per car also. Anyone have any experience with buying in Columbus, Ohio? I was thinking about traveling there to buy one.

Thanks,

dooski

Hello. I do not know how far you have researched this but--- Check-out Consumer Reports.org for up-dated info on your car. I will say this-- you will have to pay to register for this service , it really is not much-- I think you can pay on-line by the month(CHEAP!!). Any-how... you can also log on to Edmunds.com to get an accurate value for your up-coming purchase. I cannot let you go just yet. We just bought a Nissan Altima for my teen-aged daughter it is an 1996 with 130,000 miles on it. The BRAND is really reliable--but... If you go to Automotive Forums.com and select the Nissan Altima Forums( the registraton is for FREE!). Just choose the Nissan Altima Forums and please check out the dialogue about the 2006 Altima. Not trying to "SCARE" you, but the 2006 Altimas have been having a somewhat of a PROBLEM with their "ENGINES". As I understand it, Nissan has been replacing the engines on the 2006 Altimas and also adding an EX-TENDED Warranty on them!! THIS MAY BE A BARTERING TOOL FOR YOU!!! I do not know if this information will be help-full to you, but Good-Luck! dooski--
