Two 240's in my city were vandalized. I'm good friends with the owner of the red 240, and good acquaintances with the owner of the blue 240. I see them at the kart track with the local motor club a lot. Aside from the obvious visual damage to the cars and the houses, they stole an Apex'i RSM and poured coolant all over the first car.

It makes me mad, because the owner of the blue 240 has his turbo'd (KA24) and the owner of the red 240 has helped me out with a lot of stuff, and I've seen him put a lot of time into his car.. and then it gets vadalized. He was out last night and got home fairly late.. the vandalism occured between 4am and 9am this morning.

There is a slight lead, the taggers left their crew's name, but people think it might just be a set up, because it would be too obvious. There's no need to point fingers yet, but we think that this might have been caused by a little conflict that went further than it should have.

I thought I'd just share, so that people can understand that vandalism is dumb, and I know people know this, but it keeps happening. So for those who treasure their cars, don't let this happen to you. Good thing I garaged my cars for the season last night.

Well, you see, we suspect that it might be a guy with another 240sx who drives his car even though it's not saftied. It looks like crap, and it is poorly taken care of. My friends laughed at the overly riced front bumper of his car when he showed up at the Kart Track when we were running laps. To laugh at someone's bumper (you would have laughed too) and then have them vandalize your car and home, did in fact root from a little conflict. BUT there could be other reasons, as to jealousy. I do realise that it says that they were "talking shit", but talking shit could easily be a smirk, a pointed finger, or anything directed to someone's car. All I'm saying is that it started off by a little conflict and should have been dealt with more approprietly. It didn't have to get this big.

Word spreads fast here too.. most of the import scene new about it in a mere four hours after the owners discovered the monstrousity. BTW, this story is going to be in the newpaper tomorrow morning.. it would have been on the front page, but the Rolling Stones are coming to Regina (the city ;)) lol

Ok, here's what's been up so far.
Last night, the dumbasses were hunted down, and then cornered into a parking lot, after trying to lure us down a street so their friends could jump us. Afer the police were called, the police arrived and the kids confessed to all the vadalism. One was 17 years of age, and the other was 18.

Apparently, when they wrote on the side of Adrian's house that they'll find the others, they meant that they'll also get fellow members of the local motor club. A member in Lumsden (a town outside of Regina), had his vehicle also vandalized in the same nature. Two meets ago, this fellow in an unsaftied, unlicensed 240sx showed up and people gave him a thumbs down because he would rev the shit out of his car as soon as he saw any "tuned" imports on the city streets.

I'm not completely sure.. since the driver of the 240sx is only 17.. but his friend who did it is 18, so he will have a lot of fines. I'm afraid that the 17 year old punk might just get a slap on the wrist..

^ well in illinois where i am when your 17 in most cases they charge you as an adult. so who knows maybe both of them will get it good.

Ahhhh, over here they call it de factor partner. In a relationship with someone for and living with them for more than 2 years (I think) and they treat you as a married couple...ie, if it ends, its treated like a divorce and stuff is divided up.

You took my message wrong, lol. I'm not going to hunt him down, and beat his ass to a bleeding pulp, but I'm not going to smile and ask him if he wants to go for a cruise the next I see him either... a lot of people locally are critisizing the vandal's actions and saying that he should have just fought the two guys instead of attack their cars.

Honestly though, if someone did this to your car, would you really say that you wouldn't beat the shit out of whoever did it? I'm sure you've spent some good quality time working on your car -- these guys did too. Sure it's "mature" and all that good stuff to back off and act calm, but face it, frustration would get the best of anyone.

Oh, and Adrian's car is now a total loss. There was too much damage to the inside of the car from the coolant or whatever and spray paint to the dash and whatnot. That's a kick in the balls there.. especially if it's been a two year project for him. A lot of money and time put into that car (he did all the work himself) and now it's gone... and the idiot who did it isn't going to be charged.

EDIT: Oh, and for the record, I believe Adrian had it coming. He WAS in fact, making fun of the car, but Jason (blue 240sx) shouldn't have had anything done to his car. I do believe that Adrian was the one who started it and I look down on that, but if the taggers had to vandalize properties, it shouldn't have been Jason's, the couple, random cars down the street, or the member from the track club outside the city.
