Well, I have finally landed a sweet-ass job....working at a performance engine building shop (Lukovich Performance) and its awesome (besides getting screamed at by one of the owners once in a while), making some sweet money (and have been promised even sweeter money if i do good) heres the dilemma....i want to go back to school, and at my job i gotta work 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, saturday and sunday off. Heres another thing, i have to make a car payment of 250 a month, to keep my head afloat here...And i dont even want to tell you what kind of car (truck) that it is, cause i crushed my other car, and am going to court in a month for "careless driving" (bullshit)...so, what am i going to do, go back to school and risk losing my job? or stay at my job and make (up to) $18 an hour... this is a dire situation, i need help, if u wanna pm me or im me on aim, do so please.

Making decisions is all part of growing up. I took the job route and have a comfortable living, but then again I always think what could have been if I had gone back to school after serving in the Air Force. There are no sure things in life.
My son just graduated from college and is working for $15.00 an hour at a starting position as a quality control person, but he also wants to get into research and development and use his knowledge from his degree. He sees the PHD's and what they do and is now thinking about going back to school. He's an adult now, so whatever he does he'll have my backing. Of course there's always the music thing, he's the lead guitar in a heavy metal band and they play their first gig next month.
Good luck with whatever your decision is!

That's the biggest ordeal. Do you have anything to back yourself up on if something goes sour? I mean, it's not the way you should live your life by always going back to mommy and daddy's house until you can get back on your feet, but sometimes you do need something to fall back on, ya know?
I'd take the school route, but you got to know what you want to do, in school I mean. Is what you want to do worth it?
