Kerkorian proposal surprises GM

Last week, Las Vegas billionaire Kirk Kerkorian tossed a live hand grenade into the office of General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner. Kerkorian's ostensible purpose was to propose an alliance between GM and Renault-Nissan.
