Really nice, I'm not so keen on black panel lines on white. It looks OK, and your work is stunning... Stance is VERY good indeed.

IT'S REALLY GREAT!! You said you used the GT1 wheels from Tamiya, do you mean the one from Porsche GT1? Did you use only the front wheels or both front and rear? However there is one thing I want to point out is the seat should be the one with "ears", nevertheless still one of the best E36 model I have ever seen!

Excellent work as usual, you are a true master modeler. Fantastic work espcially since its a revell kit.Panel lines are perfect.

Keep up the good work! I love ur builds.

Thanks again for the comments, guys.

mickbench&snk33y> panel lines are too sharp and dark

aeroace> that’s correct

ravaglia> I used 4 front rims from Tamiya Porsche GT1 and 4 tires from Tamiya Alfa 155 V6 Ti, and I know, the seat is not correct!

Bye, Alessandro :)

Nice work and very beautifull.

I would like to ask some questions about your work.

1 - Which Tamiya Porsche GT1 models did you use for the rims in front, how about the rear ones?
2 - You said 4 tires from Alfa model, but how about the size are they the same?
3 - About the rear wing and the front spoiler did you made any modification?

I have:
1 - DMC BTCC decals
2 - Tamiya 325i model
3 - Hasegawa 318i BTCC 93 model
4 - Dragon 320i ADAC 96 model & JTCC 95 model

Which model is better for this job?

I have all this material already, but those questions that i mention above stop me to build that BTCC car.

Thanks a lot

Excellent work, back in the days when the BTCC was actually something to watch..

Hi to all and thanks again for the comments.

For stouring2005:

1 - Which Tamiya Porsche GT1 models did you use for the rims in front, how about the rear ones? > All rims on the GT1 are identical, except for the width of the rear ones which has to be reduced. I had in my scrap box 4 front, therefore I used them
2 - You said 4 tires from Alfa model, but how about the size are they the same? > Front and rear tires have the same width
3 - About the rear wing and the front spoiler did you made any modification? > Rear wing is box stock while the fron spoiler has been slightly modified with styrene

I have:
1 - DMC BTCC decals
2 - Tamiya 325i model
3 - Hasegawa 318i BTCC 93 model
4 - Dragon 320i ADAC 96 model & JTCC 95 model

Which model is better for this job? > As far as I remember, since 1995/1996 the 320 got some body modifications especiallly on the fender flares (which are correct in the Revell kit). If the Dragon 320 is a sedan 4-door, I guess it would be the best base

Hope these infos would help you.

Alessandro :)

Thanks for your information.

Just one more question, about the real wheel, where did you find the cover for the real wheel? Is that for others models or you make buy yourself?

Thank you again.:screwy:

Wheel cover comes from a generic Fujimi wheels set, I do not remember the code.
