Can Someone Please Help Me! My 92 Camry's Turn Signals Don't Work Or The Hazard Lights. I Checked The Fuses They Are All Good. I Replaced The Flasher And They Still Don't Work. They Don't Light Up At All. Any Suggestions On What To Do Next?

Check the bulbs and sockets. Make sure the grounds are good. Check the switches. Use a wiring diagram to trace the circuit(s) as you test the various components.

Are the turn signal indicator lights on the instrument panel lighting at all when you actuate the turn sig switch left or right? Does the horn work? If the lights don't light and the horn works, take a close look at the hazard switch. It is one of two things common to both the turn sigs and hazard lights. In other words, power for both comes from the hazard switch. As you actuate the turns sigs, wiggle the hazard swich and see if the turn sigs come on. If not, pull the swich out and check the wiring for broken/loose connections. If you can use a multimeter, check for 12 VDC power at contacts 8 and 10.
The second thing to check is the ground for the flasher. I'm assuming the new flasher is good. It's a white wire with a black stripe connecting to a ground terminal on the left kick panel. Thats outboard of the driver's left foot. If you can use a multimeter, check for continuity from contact 3 on the plug for the flasher to any ground point. If you have continuity (zero resistance/zero ohms) the ground is good. If not, you found the problem. You'll have to reconnect the ground connection.
Has anyone done any work under the dash recently? Might have knocked something loose.

thanks to all!!! it was the flasher. ya see, the original flasher had a connector piece on it. so when i replaced the old flasher i put the piece on the new flasher. well a friend of mine was looking at it today and tried it without the connector piece and now they work!!!:licka:

I have a 93 camry, i have almost the same problem, one of my signal lights fall off making the positive and negative wires touch, since then my signal lights and emergency lights dont work. I hear the clicking noise when i try to signal but they dont work. My headlights, brake lights, and back lights work, but my turn signals work. I bouth the electronic flasher EP-35 from autozone, but i cant find where it goes. i look under the dash and the relays under the hood dont seem to fit, if anyone knows where exactly to find them please help me.
Thanks in advance

Sergio, repair wire insulation. Put electrical tape on it. Check out fuses. They may be blown due to electrical short. The problem may be here.
Good luck,
Sam

Factory manual says it's in relay block #1 and appears to be in the left kick panel area under the dash. Haynes manual says it's on the relay block under the right side of the dash. (?????????) Looks like you'll have to track it down by listening for the click.

Thanks for everything. I checked all my fuses and wiring. Everything seem ok. I was also having trouble finding the flasher. I went to the toyota dealership and they gave me an exact diagram where it was located. The flasher is located under the dash of the passanger side. I had to go trough the glove box to get to it. But my problem was fix. Thanks for everything.
