00 accord ulev??

soon i will be inheriting a 2000 accord ex 5 speed, but i hear the ulev vtec is a bitch to mod, at least on the exhaust side...is there any way to bypass the ulev in the comp? or would i just have to get a new ecu? i already have eibach 1.7" lowering springs and an h.i.d. kit on the way....

I have a 2K ULEV and it's only down 2hp. Other than that, it's the same as the F23A1.
My mods are:
Otto Racing Muffler with Magnaflow 2.5in Piping & resonator
Megan header
Custom CAI with K&N Filter
