Rice at its finest. Kinda sad to see a civic eg on 20's. But its just a model. Good job.

it's hard to comment when i can't see the model properly.
little tip, not all cameras have a macro and not all macros on digital cameras can get closer than 20-30 cm.

it will be much better to take a picture using the best resolution at the largest size from slightly further away to get a CLEAR and SHARP and free from hand-shake photo, then crop it (photoshop, corel, even acdsee has a crop function) to get what you want.

also, if you don't have a tripod, then use a stack of books to rest camera on to reduce shake AND you need more light.

finally, black car on black background isn't the best combination.

It's called constructive criticism (Although, nothing real constructive about it, im actualy just kinda thinking loud)

Neither of your posts have had anything to offer. Your previous post was anything but constructive criticism. Constructive criticism has something to offer of value, such as advice of would could be done to make it better. Instead you just berate and diminish the model he built. If you're just going to post comments that are degrading then keep them to yourself.

Personally I think the wheels are WAAAY too big. But if you're happy with it, that's what matters.

no you've got it wrong. you just go up, and all the post i've seen of you, you put them off like that! have you done any model yourself? do you have by chance any idea how hard it is? i've got yet to start but i dont have the impression of this being easy mate. if you dont like it, either dont post, or tell them what you dont like about it, but be gentle, like i said earlier.

thanks

edit: did you know who you just got mouthy to? i bet you don't, but thats mike. he's a legend and you should respect him mate.

i just checked your 'last posts' section. it was your third post i think, which was all negative already. it says your 14 yrs old, and 'just got back' into modeling. so apprently you know that its hard to make a model. your new, you've got 7 posts. dont blow it

Yep, i know how hard it is. I, myself did never say i was any good or a professional at it.

If you need, i can find the thread about the Trueno ive recently started building, but due to having the flu im yet to start on it again.
I good at putting them together, just not painting them. :grinyes:

Just read this, and since when does age come into this? Age has nothing to do with maturity, i like to speak my mind. And i will continue to do so.

Thats a great attitude to have for modeling! Build for yourself. If you're happy with it, then thats the best you can do. If others like it, thats just a bonus.

However, Klutchy was completely out of line and should not have berated your model as he did.

I have to agree. Klutchy, if you don't like something, it's your personal opinion, we all have different tastes. Politely express your opinion without tearing someone down, and you wont have any problems.

I gotta say the rims aren't so bad, they actually fit more like 18s than 20s (20s won't actually fit on an eg w/o major mods in 1:1) Iand 18s don't always look bad on civics, they just make the car slow as hell. I really don't like the glitter paint but but hey you like it so rock on! Of course I builld my civics differently but if they all looked the same what fun would that be??
