Hello,
I am recieving the following codes for my 98 Windstar 3.8L engine - p1537, p1538, and p0460. I was able to buy 2 new IMRC modules off eBay for $200 total and I was going to try and do the repair myself as it looks like you just need to remove the modules and put the new ones on. I saw on here that you need to remove the upper air intake??? Any help would be appreciated. The Ford dealer quoted me $154.71 to put on the new IMRC's. Is that a good price or should I just try this on my own?
As for the P0460 the error code reads Fuel level sensor A Circuit malfunction. Where would I find that sensor? What exactly does it do?
Thanks in advance!

P1537/1538 indicate the intake diverter valve controls are malfunctioning. Either the vacuum line is damaged, removed, a vacuum servo is leaking, or the intake divert valves are physically stuck.
