hold the tire reset switch for a few second and release it, the light will switch off.

I often wondered about that light. I've had total flats on the fly & it's never lit up! Something less to stay lit I guess.:uhoh:

This warning system works through the ABS system. As far as I know, the ABS system has to feel for a certain time ( or millage) that a certain wheel doesn't have the same count of rotation or doing the same speed compare to other wheels; as I told you it has to be for a certain time or millage, and when this happen according to the calibration of the ABS system the computer make the warning light on, supposing that 1 wheel is probably doing less rotation because it is a little bit unflatted. This cannot be seen in a flat tire situation
the car has to run a little while unflatted for the system set the warning light on.

I have had the light come on when the ABS sensor thought the tires have been overinflated (such as running highway speeds on a hot summer day on a long trip). When I checked the pressure it was at 44psi but when the tires cooled off it was back to normal at 36.
