Hello everyone I have a 1995 Windstar with a 3.8 that I have replaced the waterpump, head gaskets, resurfaced the heads, crack checked the heads, thermostat, radiator cap, flushed the system, and still have air getting in to the system and forcing the antifreeze out.

Hello

Have your coolant checked for hydro-carbons. This will check for leaking headgaskets. (hopfully this isn't the case ). It sounds like you did the right thing.... Most good garages should have the equipement for this test.

It could be the coolant cap or radiator cap, my 2001 does not have a radiator cap only the coolant jug.Its still a pressure cap. When your van gets to operation temp there should be pressure if you can remove the cap with out no hissing sound starting then you may have a problem with the cap it self. Do not remove the cap all the way and use a rag and be carefull just turn it a little to see if you can hear air and water trying to escape if so the cap is most likley good. Just had this problem with a 97 malibu replaced the cap and all is well..Never ran hot just hotter than normal
I thought the head gasket was going but it was only a 4.99 cap.. Also if you have air in the system. Just remove the cap on cold start turn on the heat to full power and wait until operation temp, and thermostat is open. Put cap back on. Test drive and see if temp levels off.. Hope this helps..
