I like to think I can accomplish the basics but this one has me stumped. Neighbors car overheated and he replaced the warped head with a junkyard one. We tinkered around some and got it running fairly good. Now, about 4 months later, it wont start. The timing marks on the camshaft pulley seem to be correct when the rotor is pointing to #1. Also the crank pointer is at the timing plate. Fuel seems to be present since the plugs are wet and smell of fuel, but I don't have a pressure tester. Compression is at 120 plus, except #3 is at about 110. Spark plugs fire nice and brite as seen during the compression test. During cranking it sure sounds like the timings off.

Problem is, I'm unfamiliar with this make, and there's not much info out there. (no Haynes manual etc.) Can anyone help with basic info such as firing order, base timing set procedures (Jumper pins), and correct timing angle? I would appreciate any other info you could provide...
Thanks.
