The problem is probably the window motor or gearbox that drives the regulator. You may tap on the motor and get it going. You may remove the motor from the gearbox assy and clean the brushes and commutator. I did and it worked fine - for 5 days. Then, the gearbox assy seized. Bought a new motor/gearbox frim rockauto.com for ~$75.
