stuck in gear????

I have an 01' Grand Cherokee and I think it has slipped in between park and drive. I can't get the key all the way in the ignition, and I can't move the shifter. I thought a cylinder had collapsed in the ignition at first and tried some wd-40, but I don't think that is the problem since the steering wheel won't lock up like it normally does when in park. Any suggestions? :banghead:

Nevermind, I got it fixed. If anyone ever runs into a similar problem, here is what to do. Pull the gear shift off. Don't mind the wires as they stay in place. Push down on the pin in the middle of the gear lever. May want to use a screw driver to avoid pinching your fingers (learned from experience). It took some jiggling, but I finally got it popped back in place to where I could get the key in.
