I have an 02 JGCLa 4x4 V8 and I was wondering if I had to install new shocks in order to put on the 2"BB lift spacers. I am also wondering if any of you have any comments on pros/cons of 31" Dueler Revos.

the dueler revo a/t's are great tires, pricey though.
If you're looking for something a little bit more agressive i'd go with BFG AT's. Either is an awesome choice.
With the BB you don't NEED new shocks, it'll ride fine with the old ones. But here is the catch.. You'll be sacrificing flex due to the shorter shock length, and your shocks will probably wear out a little faster due to them not being in a neutral spot.

Thanx for the information. But I like the revos because of their aggressive tread but the sidewalls leave a bit to be desired. I'm planning to get 31s but I don't know if that will fit in with just the two inches of lift.

31" tires will fit. I have the 2" BB lift in my 2000 GJ with 31" and they fit fine. I have also see people on jeepsunlimited.com put up to a 32" on the same lift. 32" you will slightly rub.

If you still have some doubts check out www.jeepsunlimited.com and look in thier forums under grand cherokees. they have a before and after section with many pics of jeeps with before and after pics of lifts. Lots with the 2" bb lift with 31" tires. Hope this helps.
