I'm thinking of getting into enduro racing at my local dirt track. I was wondering what would be a good 4 cyl. car for this? The only main rules is;
"A maximum wheel base of 103" and a complete stock, frame and suspension. No bracing anywhere except inside the drivers compartment. Dash, steering and panels must remain stock for that make and model."
Thanks guys

Escort EXP or GT or 4 cylinder Mustang if you want RWD
Might also want to try an old Protege or Celica

if rwd is what ya want...the 4cyl mustangs can be beefed up pretty nicely...if fwd..VW's..when set up right can rip!! If you want a pretty low matnence car that will run high rpm's on a weekly basis...then a honda is hard to say no too

If FWD, id go with the ford probe, you can adjust the camber right from the stock suspension setup, and they sit nice and low and are light, well thats the case on 3/8 asphalt tracks soo idk about dirt tracks.

How about a follow up? What car did you end up getting and how did it go?
I got a free '93 Toyota Paseo in '07 and have been enjoying enduro racing for three years now. Both dirt and asphalt.
