Got a 95 3.4 MC and I just had the radiator and a long pipe replaced on my car. The long pipe starts at the radiator, goes past the pulley wheels( had to replace pipe because it was a pinhole in it and it was squirting water on the pulley wheelss) and behind the engine to the heater core. Anyone familiar with that pipe? Well, now my car has the shakes and when you accelerate from being parked, I hear the dual exhaust pipes "cough". Thats what it sounds like, a cough. I think this guy messed up my manifold intake or didnt put the motor mount on tight enough. What do you think?

Does your check engine light come on when this happens? It sounds more like a miss.

yes, the check engine light doe come on. How I forgot to mention that, I dont know. As I kept thinking about it, I was wondering if it were a miss. Question: If I wanted to change the spark plugs, would I HAVE to tilt the engine to get the plugs in the rear or is there another way? Is it easy and what tools would I need?

I just changed the spark plugs and its still shakes but no cough. I also hear a "sucking" sound under the hood. Im pretty sure its a vacuum hose thats come unconnected( I hope) or a intake manifold vacauum leak. How many vacuum hoses are there near the firewall by the back of the engine?

I would go some place like autozone and have them read the code for your check engine light. That should narrow it down. Some vehicles have a vacuum diagram under the hood or you might need a repair manual.

I got the book for the car from autozone today. It does not show the vacuum hoses, nor under my hood is there a diagram. I have a 95 monte and they only read codes from 96 and up. i guess im goin to the shop.
