Not sure which brake light you are talking about....
If it is the one in the dash.....a very likely cause would be that the brake fluid is slightly low in the master cylinder. Even very slightly low will trip the fluid level sensor. You will also want to make sure that you have a firm pedal.......is a very good idea to bleed the brakes, as they get a lot of crud in the fluid at each wheel.

Also, it is a good idea....when doing the brakes, to wash the wheel sensors and the sensor gear. It is normal for a lot of brake dust to build up there.
Another thing to check is the spacing between the sensor and the teeth of the sensor gear.
I have pictures of my rear brake job in my pictures at

Hello

The brake light on the dash will come on for a couple of reasons. The first one is if the parking brake is on. The second is if the two circuits of brake fluid are of different psi. This can happen because of a leak, or air in the system.

Last summer I changed my rear shoes on my 95 and thought I was done with brakes for a while. Well on our vacation both the ABS and brake light came on. It turned out that the wheel cylinders in the rear were leaking. There was so much crud built up in them that when they were pushed back to put the new shoes on they started leaking. I had to replace the wheel cylinders and the shoes again because they got brakefluid on them.

I hope the posts you got will help you out!

Also, a word of caution, brake fluid will remove paint. Enough said.
