Wheel/Tire sizes for a Tib '97 2.0L

I called a tire shop the other day and they tried to sell me 215-45-17 tires for my car.

After reading over a dozen threads about tire sizes and checking online as to the diff in circum, I have come to a conclusion that this won't be a good idea.

Can someone maybe list standard size tires that would fit?

I see 195-60-14 come standard, but I have 205-50-15 fitted.
