painting inside windows black...

The clear shell for the windows on the 1/24 scale models. Painting these strips black kills almost every model I do!!! Its so aggrivating cuz I feel why bother making all the details and everything, and then have the window trim look like F@ck! Any pointers?

I use a sharpie marker on the inside. Then go over it with paint if it looks too transparent.

Not a new idea, in fact the search feature would turn it up if you searched on this very subject ;)

Hey everyone, they also have paint markers that would probably be better then sharpies because they are nice and opaque. A few companies that make them are painters, paintys and deco color. deco color is by far the best and they have a range of sizes from extra fine to broad. Hope this helps a little bit.
