Brake Lights On An Aerostar

I have a 93 Aerostar. The brake lights on each side don't work. The light at the top of the van does goes on when the pedal is depressed. I have checked the fuse, it is fine. I have also checked both light bulbs and they are okay. What am I missing?

You may want to check to see if you are getting voltage to the brake lamp FROM the multifunction switch. Seen alot of those cause that problem. Hope this helps

I also have a 93 Aerostar. When you say light at top, do you mean the amber above the red or perhaps a brake light UP above(diff. model).
Mine is XL,the reason I wonder is i had heard that brakelights and
cruisecontrol are tied in this partic.model.
