Either need to replace the display board or the radio with an aftermarket type. The dealers do not do their own work but farm it out to somebody in town that works on OEM radios. Talk to them and they can point you in the right directionl.

I had the same problem with my 2003 Honda Accord radio. I had to bring it to the dealer and they reinstalled a brand new radio. Seems like a common problem with this model/year.

I had the same problem with my 2003 Honda Accord radio and the entire console. I had to bring it to the dealer and since I was under the warranty, they fixed it free. It must be a popular item that goes bad.

Before you take it to the dealer try this:
Press and hold down the CD button for 5 seconds. You will hear a beep and the display should come back on.
A friend of mine had the same problem and we were told to try this and it worked.
Unfortunately a female friend of mine has an 05 Accord with the same problem. Unfortunately holding down the CD button didn't resolve this problem so we had the unit replaced

If your radio works, but you can't see anything...I bet the culprit is a blown resistor. IF you search around, you'll find many threads just like it. Honda put out some sort of bulletin awhile back, but I hear many Honda owners are frustrated by the response. Check out this tutorial:

IT WORKED!!!! A very friendly retired electrical engineer at my local hardware store helped me solder. It's really not that tough to take the unit out and take it apart. I used this video to take out the unit for a 2007 Accord radio but it was exactly the same on my 03 EX v6
