Meet my friend..

I know I'm supposed to be the comforting/supporting friend, but damn, this is funny, in a fucked up way, and I'm bored, and no one is on AIM.

Meet my friend, we'll call him Mike. Mike's had a crush... shall we possibly even call it... LOVE?! on this "girl," or we'll call her.. Brandy for almost three months now. We later find out that she indeed has a crush on him back, but alas, Mike is too chicken to ask her out. Vice versa with the female. We (as in me, another guy friend, Mike, her, and one of her friends [more on this 'friend' later..] began to hang out, quite often inftact.. which only multipled the feelings Mike had for this girl.

As soon as I found out about this, my "supportive, yet cinical" side kicked in. I told him straight up..ask her out NOW before its too late, and you fall into the FRIEND zone....

now...fast foward 3 or so months...

Mike and 'her' have been hanging out together so much, that Mike actually thinks that she is infact his GIRLFRIEND. ("Houston, we have a problem..." countdown to REALITY!)

Yesterday, we're hanging out as usual, at my place, doing none other then what the average teenager does.. besides waste gas, and eat fast food... play video games. Somehow the topic of dating was brought up, and I mentioned how this girl I sit next to in English class asked me if Mike and Brandy were going out... to which her reply is "WERE JUST FRIENDS." (BOOM!. Picture Heroshima and Nagasaki simultaniously exploding in Mike's head. Say hello to the cruel, and unforgiving reality.) The rest of the day is pretty uneventful..

Enter "Taylor" and "Mac." Theyre friends. Not of ours, of course. We (as in me and Mike) have almost a near hate with the guys. I didnt really hate them, untill recently (more on this recently) but Mike, poor old Mike, has a passion of hate for Taylor, specifically. Why? Because his "girlfriend" or Brandy, has been hanging out with him..(His ego is bruised: how DARE another guy hang out with her..)

The incident that really "got" Mike was when we were at the local quicky mart, doin the usual routine of wasting gas, and doin the beer/dip run... when who do we see, none other then Taylor and Mac, drive down the road. We decide to follow them, and where else do they go? None other then to Brandys.

Now that we got past the introduction of those two characters and got them out of the way, we can continue with the rest of that uneventful day. I was playing some PS2, Brandy was on the computer, and Mike was playing with Brandys cell phone, when a text message came in. It was from none other then Taylor. The message went something like "I'm leaving now, I'll call you when I get home" Weird? Strange? Most indeed... for the unwary.

Then the convorsation about Taylor and Mac was brought up. Brandy mentioned that they planned to jump us and try to beat us up on Monday, but that plan appearently failed. Now, heres more on the "friend" or we'll call her Kim, as mentioned above, and why I now strongly dislike Taylor and Mac. (As if them trying to jump us wasnt enough?) But apprarently Mac wants to "beat my ass" Why so? Appearently he thinks I got Kim in trouble. Lets just say that Kims dad doesnt like me for reasons unknown, and me hanging out with Kim made him quite unhappy. Anywho, yeah... Mac also likes Kim.. now please excuse me while my manly ego takes over: I also like Kim. THAT LIL BASTARD.. okay, I'm better now. At least my situation is better then Mikes. I've talked to Kim, and she said she CERTAINLY DOES NOT like Mac, in the same way.

Now, me, im 5' 8" about 240. Mike is about 6' 1" about 170. Taylor is probably about 6' 180, and Mac is 5' 6" about 140. (Does he really think he can beat my ass?)

Mike somehow managed to get ahold of Brandys cell phone.. in doing so he managed to read all of the text messages. A few of which he showed me, from Taylor (to Brandy) said something like "I'm so glad we're going out" or "Is it okay if I kiss you?" and, last, but certainly not least "I cant wait untill we make out AGAIN" Okay, maybe it wasnt in those exact words, he isnt THAT shallow... but it definately said "make out, again" Needless to say, Mikes little heart is crushed. The girl he has been madly in love with for two months, has been going out, and making out with a guy.. and he didnt even know it...

Congradulate your self. You read it all, now add you're :2cents: about this tragic (for Mike), yet humourous (for Us) situiation.. :iceslolan

Hahahahah. I live for stuff like that when it happens to my friends. Hate it when it happens to me.

First off, Mike is a bitch. You can't dick around with girls like that. You can't. Lord knows I've been a bitch like that and fucking regretted it, but oh well.

i can't believe i kept everyone's names straight thru that whole story lol but anyways yeah, mike is being a pussy, he should've just asked her out and if she said no i'd rather be friends well then at least he tried, and that's where he is now, even without asking her out.

Yeah, you can think to much or you'll never do anything. Txt messaging to ask if he can kiss her....wow, just wow. My gf and i txt all the time, but never when we are together or about lame shit like that. I can just see this guy,(while making out) getting up, grabbing his phone and txting the girl, " Can we have......sex......now?" Seriously, who does that?

**Ouch. I used to be a Mike a long time ago. By college, the self-confidence fully spooled, kinda like a big turbo: late with lots of lag, but hit hard once it got there. lol. You just gotta learn to not give a fck about what she might say, what they might say, any continual analysis of this shit. Be like Nike. JUST DO IT! and ask her out.

that story was f'ing hilarious. made my day after failing an accounting test. anyways, mike needs to get the sand out of his *gina and be a man. taylor and mac need to go suck each other and you need to stop wasting time on here and ask out Kim. just playing, it was a funny story. too bad for mike he lost her.

ahhh.... the plot thickens....

Today I got back from another school (My "main school" doesnt have any Auto classes. I travel to another school in the county for my Auto classes) Anywho, my friends are in lunch, so I decide to go and see whats up... to where I'm greeted with a "DUDE! Mac wants to beat your ass!"

"Huh?"

Yeah, I guess Mac has been goin around saying hes gonna fight me and kick my ass. After lunch, is my Math class, and Kim is also in the class with me. (w00t!) But anyways, I somehow manage to get to class early (I'm normally late) so I take my seat, and just chill out for an upcoming test. All my friends (Yea, the same friends from lunch are in my class too) are outside the door. I can almost hear them, saying how I'm going to fight Mac, or he wants to fight me, when I hear Kim yellin "Where's (my name)!!" When she walks in the door, sayin Mac wants to beat my ass.. and she also mentions how I should kick his ass.

This should be an exciting school year. Gotta love high school drama.
