I have an 05 Silverado Z-71 LS, with power front drivers seat and am curious if I can upgrade to the power heater driver/passenger seats that come with the LT option. I'm sure they will bolt in fine, I'm just concerned about the wiring for the heated seats option as well as the power passenger seat which I don't currently have.

You'll need to install the button assembly that turns it on and off (there's to temp settings and of course off). How you'd do that, I don't know, but it goes on the door panel. Good Luck!! (Oh yeah, that heated seat sure is nice o cold morning!!!)

Thanks I have the door seat controls for both the driver and passenger sides. I just hope the rest of the wiring is there so they are "plug and play" like some of the other posts I've read referencing installing compass/temp mirrors and other accessories.

Have a junkyard look to see if the wiring harness in the floor is the same. You more than likely will have to get the BCM/ECM reprogrammed to get the controls to work from what I was told at the dealer. When I had the dealer install the power folding mirrors the BCM was reprogrammed.
