Source for scale boats, skidoos or motorcycles?

So another christmas is coming up and I still have three possible models to build for my g/f's dad, his boat, his skidoo or his motorcycle. I'd love to do the motorcycle in particular... unfortunately I dunno the specific year or model just yet (going there tomorrow and I can get specifics) but in the meantime, what are the odds I could find an old late 70s/early 80s Kawasaki road bike? Are there any modelling suppliers online that sell skidoos, boats and bikes? I found a few but they're mostly just new (~10 years old) bikes... :uhoh:

Tamiya has been making 1/12 bikes for years, especially of various Japanese manufacturers, you may find they have already modelled the bike you're looking for.
As for Skidoos, I can only think of one 'jetski' in 1/24 by Revell that came in a kit with a trailer and Silverado, I don't know much about the kit though so can't tell you more.
In general, there is very little in 1/24 or 1/12 in the way of boats or skidoo type watercraft, I guess because a general lack of demand.

Revell did release a waverunner - or water craft racer as they label it - and trailer without the Silverado in 1/25 scale. It's pretty decent kit.
However, when you say Skidoo you mean snowmobile right? Scale Equipment Ltd has a resin version of an older Revell version.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys... and ya I meant an actual skidoo snowmobile, he has one of the big two-seater touring sleds... I remember seeing something real similar in DIECAST a couple years ago... If anyone can keep their eyes open I'd appreciate it.

Aoshima has good range of older Japaniese bikes to.
Find out the make and the model.
As for others, sorry can't help.
You can search through range on http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/shop_right_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=102&Typ2_c=107&Typ3_c=124&sortID=1&thumb=1&Spage=1 where you have pictures of bikes. Those old bikes are a bit tricky because they were different for each market so it could be that your dad has 750 bike and in Japan it was 400 but looking same as 750.
Of course there is HLJ also and as Ray said Tamiya had good range to.

Okay, FINALLY got a picture, and his buddy told me the bike is a 74-76 Kawasaki Z1... couldn't give me any more detail than that. Maybe sjelic can help confirm that that's correct? Hope I can find a kit of this...

Sorry can't confirm it is Z1 because Z1 had longer and bigger tank and the tail section was different, this looks to be some half enduro bike and the engine is small one (probably 100 ccm), I don't think there was kit for this one.
