ok, looking for some help. my alternator fried up about 2 weeks ago. so i replaced it. it was going fine but i noticed my voltage was low from the day i put it in, used to be like 14.2 constant, now at 12.5 to 14 fluxuating. so i thought it was strange and gave it time. and one day at work i got in my car and it wouldnt start. i had an extra battery there and threw it in. now figuring the battery was bad, i felt i solved my problem. but it still fluxuates in voltage. even when i put my turnsignal on, it will fluxuate maybe .8 of a volt. i have a feeling its gonna just not start again, any ideas any1?

Sounds like you mite of gotten a bad alternator. I would take it back to the part shop you got it from and exchange it for another.

Do you have a tricked out audio/entertainment set-up? Have your cable ends on the battery terminals been brushed clean? Are your battery terminals likewise, spotless? Have you checked connections and grounds on the other ends of those cables where they meet the starter and chassis?
