Wow i havent posted in forever. I've done some more mods and finally got my car to the track for the first time to see what she can actually do.
haha I had to take the pic three times cause i didnt want to take my eyes off the road or a hand off the wheel, so it was pretty much blind aiming.

HOLY SHIT! How in the...? Whooaaa. Thats neat. Never seen that done on a Cavalier. Seen that done on a cougar, few mustangs, camaro, explorer, and a grand prix. Pretty neat. But ya, what were your et?

Holy shit man. I wouldn't want to take my eyes off the road or hand off the wheel either. I would have been too scared to even try to take that picture.

Jesus christ. What are your ET's. And good job. Just be careful with speeds like that.

that wasnt a drag strip, he was on a road course. If that was a drag strip he would be runing in the single digits with that MPH. And would be famous right now among jbody enthusiast.
He was most likely on a straight away on a road course, notice the thread title, "A track"

prolly the same et's as anyone else...his pic is of top end..not 1/4mile...getting to that speed prolly took him like 20-30 seconds...a 1/4 mile track wouldnt have road that long enough to get there...hey nfg..what kinda mods you got to that car to hit numbers like that ?

nitrous and prolly a MSD Ignition, thats the onlyway i know of to remove the speed limiter without turning off the dash, and his dash is still working.

All I want to say is that's neat. I know I don't want to go that fast in my cavy though ever. I want it to look good, which is what i've been trying to do. And it's coming along slooooooowwwwwly.

What if a front wheel was off the ground (jack)....could that 130-140mph be duplicated? I've never heard of a streetable J body thats capable of 140mph.Camaros,Mustangs and GTOs would have a hard time attaining that, much less a 4 cylinder FWD subcompact.
