My Duaghter has a 99 blazer with a v6 vortec and the Automatic Temp control option. She left it here while traveling and I am trying to fix her HVAC Blower problem:
The blower stopped working. I replaced the blower motor assebly and still nothing. Next I thought the resistor. There are 3 wires Purple, Black and brown (gnd). The Purple seems to be always hot. The black reads millivolts only. This is true on both sides of the resistor in any setting combination. I unplugged the connector going into the resistor and checked voltage at various settings and get the same readings.
Any ideas/suggestions??
