i have a friend wiht a 99 contour se think its a 4 cylinder and he needs to replace the drivers front wheel bearing. im supposed to help him out this weekend to do the job. im not a ford person i do mainly gm vehicles so my question is on these contours is the wheel bearing actually a bearing or is it like the gm where its all a hub assembly and what am i getting my self into changing it for him. GM's are rather easy to do 3 bolts and pull it off the axle
how about the Contour???
any help is great.

you can buy the wheel bearing seperate or you can just buy the whole knuckle assembly.
btw, youll need a 20 ton press to press them in.
