Hello,
I have a 1996 Blazer that has sealed beam headlights and I want to upgrade to the non sealed beam headlights, but the only thing holding me back is the wire harness that plugs into the headlight. The reason is the female connection on the harness is slightly offset now bulb 9003's male connection plugs straight in and therefore won't work with my female harness. Now I was wondering if I could take the harness from a 92 Blazer which I know has the straight connection I’m looking for and wire it up to my truck?? The only problem I can think of is my headlight is 6-1/2" x 4" and the harness I’ll be using belongs to a 7-7/8" x 5-5/8" headlight. I'll still be using the 6-1/2" x 4" because that's the only thing that will fit in my truck, but it's the upgraded non sealed beam headlight which calls for the 9003 bulb.
I hope I made my situation clear... :smokin:
Thanks I really appreciate your help!
Rick
P.S here is a link to the headlights I'll be installing to give u a better idea.
