52 chrysler new yorker

would any one have an idea where i could find parts for my NYer?

i do not have a parts catalog (or part numbers), but i used to drive and work on these when i was younger (and they were newer!!!)

Hey, I used to have a '53 New Yorker. They are nice, nice cars, terrific Hemi engines and a really roomy body.
I just scrounged around for mine. As you know, unlike the Chevys and Fords, few people repro parts for these.

I found several auto electric rebuilder shops that could easily rebuild generators and starters.

A local brake parts manufacturer relined the shoes and matched up springs and wheel cylinders with items they had in stock, for various projects of mine.

The Hemi engines were widely used and engine parts should be commonly available.

I am sorry I can't be of more help, though. I sold my '53 a while back, and the buyer put in a Camaro sub frame in front, with a Chevy driveline and used a Ford Granada rear axle, along with a '70's Cadillac steering column. After that it wasn't much of a New Yorker anymore.
A Chrysler club likely can put you in touch with members who could help you more.

thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. from what you said about your 53, it deffinitely isn't a new yorker anymore, except maybe on the outside.
