Squeel in front end when slowly turning

I have a 96 sonoma with a 4 cyl. It has had two new transmissions in it, the first one wasn't installed right and wore out, but luckily it was still under warranty. Anywho, when I am going down the street and I slow down to start to make a turn onto another street, maybe 10 mph, as I am turning there is a squeel sound coming from the front end like I am going too fast and my tires are skidding. But I'm not. Haven't really looked at anything, but just wanted some advise on what to do. It's an auto if anyone wants to know, also its an ext. cab.
Thanks
