Just bought a new 2006 Ion2. I certainly cant say yay or nay on much yet, but so far i like it alot. It did come out of necessity though with gas prices going out of sight.

Hey, i had just bought myself (last year Nov) a newer ion coupe, level 3. It was a great deal and could not pass it up! 6,300 mils only for $12,000! the used car dealership did not know what they were doing. I love my car, and does great with gas! I can usually get around 350 miles or so per fill up. I do alot of driving, i pet sit, which sounds crazy but its great money and you drive everywhere. Anyway, unfortunitly the only problem i have is not mechanicaly with the car (sorry aboutmy spelling) but i ended up running into a trailer hitch and put a nice little hole in my front bumper! Im so bumbed, and it is going to cost me $550 to replace, unless i can find another. Any one out there have a front bumper they can offer? :)

they are good ittle cars. MMy wife had a 93 that we got rid f last year with over 350000 miles on it. (not that is NOT a typo) Only reason we sold it was it had a Tranny issue, and wouldnt pick up overdrive. She now has a 2005 Ion and loves it, but not as much as her SC2! Pay no mind t the haters here. Im sure you will figure out who I am talking about.
2 cars, mucho miles on them, no issues.
