Werid Ticking Noise 2001 F350

In the past few months, I have been driving my dad's 2001 F350. It's got the 5.4 and the 5 speed manual. Upon starting, the clutch makes a ticking noise when its not completely engaged or disengaged. It goes away after running for a few minutes. Any suggestions?
